Winter Stay-cation: 10 Fun Things to Do Over Winter Break!

Winter break is a cherished time for students to unwind, rejuvenate, and perhaps most importantly, have some fun. While the chilly weather might keep you indoors, it doesn't mean your break has to be dull. Whether you're staying on campus or heading home, there are plenty of enjoyable activities to in. Here are 10 exciting suggestions to make the most out of your winter break:


Cooking classes & recipe challenge

1. Explore Culinary Adventures

Use this time to experiment in the kitchen. Try out new recipes, bake cookies, or challenge yourself to create a gourmet meal with whatever ingredients you have on hand.


You can also take a cooking class. If you attended one of our Hopkins Cooking Series classes in the fall, you could elevate your skills with some new techniques. Or if you are a beginner, let the class teach you the basics and then you can return in the spring to impress your friends.
